Projection content had to remain spatially coherent across monumental surfaces, multiple planes, strong geometric distortion and very short-throw optics.
Projection integration
Image geometry under stage constraints.
The work covered video-system installation before performances, SMODE programming, cue creation, collaboration with the artistic team, monumental soft-edge work and the adaptation of content across strongly distorted projection planes.
Ultra-short-throw optics made small physical variations visible immediately. Final calibration therefore connected software geometry, projector placement, surface alignment and show conditions rather than treating them as separate tasks.
Responsibility
Install the video system, prepare projection paths and make the SMODE environment operational for the production.
Build and adjust cues, geometry and content states in collaboration with the artistic and technical teams.
Manage monumental soft edges and heavily deformed surfaces while preserving continuity across projected planes.
Calibrate the complete system on site so software, optics and stage architecture converge into one reproducible show state.
